The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The embroidered textile with scattered runs, pulls and shattering to the ground revealing stuffing beneath. The polychrome and gilt threads with pulls and losses. Colors remain vibrant. The backing with some fading and small scattered stains.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.
