The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall with some minor surface wear, rubbing to paint and scratches, the ribbons all later except for the example with Empress Alexandra's cypher and the example painted with yellow margarites flowers, whose ribbons were present when acquired at auction in 1988 but may not be contemporary to the egg itself, some with some minor residue or surface dirt, could be cleaned up, overall good decorative condition.
