The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The ormolu overall with some minor scuffs and areas of tarnish, the architectural spires at the top slightly loose, though secure, the malachite with some natural veining and inclusions, with a small section of malachite lacking to the lower right corner of the panel, not visible when frame is assembled, the wood back with some minor nicks and scratches as well as some cracks including around the hinge for the ratchet support and where the securing nails go in, the back of the aperture with a printed Ann and Gordon Getty Collection inscribed 1986-44 in black in, overall good condition.
