The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With some light surface wear and scattered fritting, mainly to the high points; Some very small chips to the base rim; Both with horns later cold-gilt; One lacking its right ear and with some minor restoration and slight overpaint to its right horn tip, the other lacking the tip of its left horn and with restoration and associated overpaint to its left ear, the old overpaint now yellowing slightly; Both with a printed Ann and Gordon Getty Collection label inscribed 1990-230 in red ink.
