With some light surface wear and scattered fritting, mainly to the high points; Some small chips to the rim, including a slightly larger flat chip to the plate with the courting couple at 2 o'clock, the shearing sheep plate with a chip just below 9 o'clock; Some minor firing flaws to the undersides; Each with some long glaze lines to undersides, partially encircling borders (do not go through); Both with a printed Ann and Gordon Getty Collection label inscribed 1983-691 in black ink, the one with the sheep shearer further with a dealer sticker for Earle Vandekar and an exhibition sticker; No further damage visible under black light.
