Overall in good, sound condition and ready to place. The ormolu with typical light rubbing, some oxidation, tarnish and some areas of verdigris. With a light buildup of surface dirt. With some minor casting imperfections. The glass door does not sit flush. The glass probably replaced. The enamel dial with very faint surface scratches and well preserved. The marble plinth with natural inclusions, scattered light nicks, surface scratches and minute 'nibbles' to extreme edges. With a repaired crack to the front left corner of the plinth. The seams of the marble veneer somewhat visible along the edges. With a pendulum. The bell possibly replaced. Please note Christie's does not guarantee the working order of clocks.
