The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
A l’œil nu le tableau se présente dans un état de conservation moyennement satisfaisant. Il est peint sur un panneau de chêne d’une planche, non parqueté. On ne constate pas de soulèvement de matière.
On remarque à l’œil nu des repeints anciens dans les fonds, dans les mains.
A la lampe UV, on constate un vernis vert épais uniforme. On remarque des restaurations anciennes dans les fonds, dans les vêtements ainsi que quelques points de restauration dans le visage.

To the naked eye, the painting is in a fairly good overall condition. It is painted on oak tree panel, uncradled. We cannot see any paint lifting.
We can see to the naked eye some restoration in the background and in the hands.
Under UV lighting, the painting is covered in a green even and thick coat of varnish. We can see some old restoration in the background, in the clothes and some located restoration can be seen in the face.
