This equinoctial ring is in a good overall condition. There are some light surface scratches and very minor tarnishing to the brass consistent with age and use. The engraving remains crisp and legible throughout. There are some small areas of white and green patination around the suspension bow and the joints of the rings. There is white residue around the inner part of the bridge and the central pin hole slider no longer moves. The reverse has negligible, occasional nicks and abrasions.
