The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Silver flatware: marks illegible, with assay's master mark; some scratching and dents due to usual wear, the case is a later addition, very worn, the major part of the leather is missing or torn and very worn
- Travelling set: marks worn, possibly regilded, some scratching and dents due to usual wear, coat-of-arms possibly later addition, the case assorted, leather and velvet torn and worn
- Spoons: margs goos, some scratching and dents due to usual wear; case worn on places, velvet very worn.
