The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Three 18th century: marks good to worn, some scratchingand dents due to usual wear, one with a tiny dent on a ajouré motif, one with engraved coat-of-arms
Three French, 19th and 20th century: one with a solder repair at the handle, possible the handle is a later addition, one slightly out of shape
The Belgian sifter: a large solder repair at junction handle to spoon
The English sifter: in overall good condition
