The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition. Superficial dirtness. Some discolouration to the stone. Small paint stains, small dents, scratches and dirtness to the vasque. Oxidizing, scratches and wear to the patina of the bronze mount, including Verdigris. All consistent with age and use. Some hairline cracks along the edge of the vasque. One more important hairline crack along 12 cm. (4³⁄₄ in.). Electrical fitting modern, to be checked.

Bon état général. Salissures superficielles. Décoloration de la pierre par endroits. Petites taches de peinture. Petits chocs, griffures et encrassement de la vasque. Traces d'oxydations, griffures et usures de la patine à la monture en bronze, y compris du vert-de-gris. L'ensemble dû au temps et à l'usage. Présence de fêlures sur le pourtour de la vasque. Une fêlure plus importante sur environ 12 cm. (4³⁄₄ in.). L'installation éléctrique moderne à vérifier.
