    A presentation copy to Léon Givaudan, with original watercolor; no. 16 of 30 deluxe copies. Carteret Illustrés IV, 360. Quarto (313 x 250mm). Original signed watercolor, numerous colored engravings, with two extra suites of the prints in color and in black-and-white and 18 proof states of one plate as issued. Brown gilt morocco with matching chemise, original wrappers bound in, in slipcase. Provenance: Léon Givaudan (1875-1936, French perfumer; presentation inscription from the artist dated 1934) – Jean-Claude Lissarragues (bookplate).
