The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. A few soft creases, tiny tears and small spots of abraded paper are occasionally, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
