The sheet is hinged intermittently to the backing board and undulates slightly. Pinholes are to the upper corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. The edges are deckled. A small tear is to the lower left edge. A tiny area of craquelure is to the lower left quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
