The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged intermittently along the upper half to the backing board and undulates. Pinholes are to the corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. The edges are deckled. Surface irregularities are intermittently, a vestige of the artist's working process. Fibrous accretions and soft creases are intermittently. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
