The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. The edges are very slightly discolored, visible underneath the mat. A few faint handling marks are near the center right and center lower edges, and a few minute accretions are to the center right edge and near center, all presumably vestiges of the artist's working method. A few pinpoint spots of discoloration are to the lower left quadrant. Two vertical creases are left of the central vertical axis. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
