Various knocks scuffs marks scratches dents and abrasions consistent with age and use. Structurally sound. The gilding very fragile with numerous chips and losses throughout. Some slight warp but hangs well. An old paper label for C. R. Fenton & Co. Ltd, inscribed 'WALTER/GIBBS' to the top of the bracket shelf. In country house condition.
MM 07/06/17 - Binder notes that it was purchased from Gibbs in 1981 with possible provenance of the former collection of Daisy Fellows.
