The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. The vertical edges of the sheet are deckled. Pinholes are to the corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's process. A few small spots of craquelure, some with associated pinpoint losses, are to the lower left quadrant in black passages. Under ultraviolet light, a small spot of possible restoration is visible to the lower right corner, also faintly visible in raking light.
