The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall very good condition considering age and type. Small patch in the upper right corner (4 in. x 2 1/2 in.). Minute areas of loss to embroidery, mainly in outer panel border. Minute repairs to red wool ground that are slightly discolored. Repairs to seven black ground panels in border where there was corrosion and now restored with a backing and use of a synthetic pink thread.
