The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board. A pinhole is to the center right edge, presumably a vestige of the artist's process. The sheet is slightly discolored overall, primarily to the edges. A few soft creases are occasionally to the corners and upper vertical edges, mostly visible in raking light. A small spot of discoloration is to the upper right corner. Spots of discoloration are to the left edge. Faint mat impressions, some with minute associated spots of lifting, are visible occasionally to the edges. Several minute accretions, some fibrous, are visible occasionally within the painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
