The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The paper is hinged to the mat support with three pieces of tape along the reverse upper edge. A 3 in. vertical tear along the left upper edge with corresponding area of paper loss. A ½ in. tear along the center upper edge. A small area of paper loss along the right upper edge. A 1 in. tear and a ½ in. area of paper loss along the center right edge. A small tear and minor paper losses along the upper left edge. A 1 in. tear in the upper right sky. Mat burn along the extreme edges, particularly visible in the sky. The paper is slightly toned. Scattered spots of foxing throughout. Some pigments appear to be slightly faded.
