The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Restoration to his left sleeve, to his right hand and chipping to his left fingers (half of little finger lacking). Broken through tree-stump, right knee, left thigh and back of cloak and restuck.Some overpainting to tops of shoes. Chipping and restoration to applied leaves, ribbons and fruit. Small patch of overpainting to dog's hind quarters and hairline crack to his undercarriage. Overall some glaze crazing and overfiring to the lower half at the back.
