The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The bowls present very well overall with minor rubbing and wear to the painted and gilt decoration. Each with scattered minor kiln flecking from the making. One with greater wear to the gilt rim. One with a small restuck chip to the footrim. Another with a hairline extending approximately 1½ inches from the rim, with associated small losses to the porcelain to the exterior; the footrim with a few small chips.
