The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This bureau is in fairly good condition overall. Fitted interior possibly later. There are the inevitable minor scratches, scuffs, shrinkage and abrasions overall consistent with age and use. There are a couple of wax filled holes to the top. There is a loss to the molding at the top left corner of the fall-front, as well as a visible horizontal shrinkage split. Metal work possibly replaced. Feet probably replaced. With a key.
