The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Marks are legible, a little rubbed. Engraving is clear and later. Shallow and broad dent to the center of the field, only noticeable upon close inspection. Center of field thin, erasure. Some very minor scratches as to be expected.
