The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall with light surface scratching, tarnish and verdigris consistent with age and use. Both brackets with some pitting and small bruising. One bracket with two losses around the top back edge and with a split and subsequent loss near the tip of the toe, approximately 2½ in. long. The other shoe with losses to one top side edge and restorations around the buckle on both sides, including a small hole to one shell and a plugged hole to the other.
