The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The service presents well overall with scattered minor wear and rubbing to the gilt and painted decoration.

Two footed circular sauce-tureens and covers with gilt butterfly handles and finials, 5½ in. high: One cover restored. The interior of the sauce tureens with greater wear to the green ground. One sauce tureen restored.
Two shaped oval dishes, 11¼ in. wide: Some scattered flaking to the rims.
Eleven dessert plates, 8⅝ in. diameter: One with a surface crack to the rim. Four with footrim chipping.
