The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall, some slight wear to gilding, scratching to enamels and glaze, occasional small flake to green-ground, slight stacking wear and occasional minute chip. Generally in good decorative order.

A footed bowl -- 1 inch crack to green border with associated flaking and some small further flakes elsewhere. Slight chipping to footrim.
Two two-handled circular sauce-tureens, covers and stands -- some slightly stained glaze crazing to stands.
Four shaped square dishes -- some small flakes to green-ground, but in overall good order.
Two shaped oval dishes -- some small flakes to green-ground, but in overall good order.
Four circular dishes with shell-shaped handles -- some small flakes to green-ground, but in overall good order.
Twenty-two dessert-plates -- occasional footrim chip, flake to green ground, one with short firing crack from rim,
Nine Spode Feldspar porcelain soup-plates -- occasional footrim chip, flake to green ground, two with 2 inch scratches to green ground, stacking wear, one with 2 inch scratch to green ground, one with 3 inch scratch to underside, two with minute chip to underside of rim, one slightly more worn to gilt rim.
