The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
CASE: The kingwood veneers with some loss and shrinkage overall. Some adaptation to the upper sides and angles of the case behind the lambrequin mounts. One finial detached. The front glazed door is slightly mishapen and the top hinge is slightly loose.
DIAL: The enamel chapters with numerous chips and losses. 'V', 'VI' and 'VII' are associated and a slightly lighter blue. The hour hand is a later replacement. The dial has an additional mounting plate between it and the movement.
MOVEMENT: The backplate with various vacant holes. The suspension later adapted.
With pendulum. No case key. Requires a winding key.
