The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
Both vases generally in good condition for age, with some typical age-related wear to both including rubbing to enamels and gilt. The neck rim of one vase with a chip and a minor hairline crack to the underside edge of one cover. The other vase with two chips to the edges of the oval medallion on one side, and another small chip to the opposing medallion on the other side. There are two chips to the edges of the cover on the second vase.
