The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With the inevitable knocks, marks, losses, scratches and shrinkage cracks, consistent with age and use.
The decoration probablt refreshed and with some rubbing and wear revealing bare timber to both.
As stated the upholstery distressed and the seats to both torn showing the filling and will require reupholstering to be accetable decoratively.
Some repairs to the frame of the back of one chair.
Both chairs with old upholstery holes to the rails.
Evidence of historic but apparently inactive woodworm to the rails throughout.
Otherwise structurally secure.
