The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In fairly good condition overall.
With the inevitable knocks, marks, losses, scratches and shrinkage cracks, consistent with age and use.
As stated redecorated, the current decoration with losses, flaking and rubbing throughout particularly to the bronzed legs.
The decoration to the legs slightly unstable and will require stabilising to avoid further loss.
The gilt supports and feet with cracking, flaking and rubbed deliberately to reveal red bole.
The squab cushion slightly dirty and would benefit from a clean.
The rails with extensive old upholstery holes and evidence of historic but apparently inactive woodworm and some associated woodworm losses.
The legs with some shrinkage under the paint which would benefit from securing. This shrinkage also apparent to the feet.
Otherwise structurally secure and highly decorative.
