All in good order. The columns divide in two and need to be fixed to the wall with screws. As mentioned in the catalogue description the columns have been reduced in height. The swans are screwed onto wooden wall-brackets for mounting but these could be easily removed. The have holes in their beaks suggesting that they issued chains or some further fitting. One swan of a later date. With a build up of dust and dirt, and rubbing to the gilding.
