Lot Essay

This green-glazed rectangular dish was always displayed on a huanghuali waisted corner-leg side table, lot 169 in sale 11419, in Mr. Ellsworth’s library, alongside a green–glazed rectangular box, lot 8056 from this sale, and a blue and sancai-glazed pottery pillow or wrist rest, lot 810 in sale 11420.
