The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Bowl:
-a couple glaze flakes and a raised burst glaze bubble on the interior
-small glaze flakes to the mouth rim
-chips and nicks and a few firing flaws to the foot rim
- wear to the glaze on the interior and exterior
-area of earth encrustation
Zhadou:
-a few chips to the mouth rim, hairline cracks
-firing flaws and small firing cracks on the exterior
-chips, nicks and area of glaze wear to the foot rim
-very fine crackle suffused throughout
-areas of earth encrustation
