The smaller probably from Southeast China, the well-polished stone of dark grey color and the hafting hole drilled from one side; the larger, heavy axe of blackish-grey color with extensive areas of buff inclusions, the hafting hole drilled from both convex sides
5 7/8 and 6 3/8 in. (15 and 16.2 cm.) long
