-both are missing their covers
-mouth rim of the smaller jar is buffed
-larger jar with small firing cracks on the foot, large horizontal firing crack on the base of the interior, and a few small polished chips to the foot rim
-smaller jar with several starcracks, visible on the interior, small glaze chip to the body, and minor nicks to the foot rim
