The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good condition. The stone with natural inclusions, scattered light nicks and some minor 'nibbles' to extreme edges. With a crack through the frieze on one side with a minute loss, not readily visible and stable. The ormolu with typical rubbing, light tarnish and oxidation. The frieze mounts possibly re-gilt. With some minor verdigris, primarily to the circular mount on one base. With a few very fine cracks inherent in the casting. Sound and ready to place.
