The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition.
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.
Enameled dial: there are some hairlines cracks especially to the central element.
There are some chips around the key holes as expected.
Gilding: with traces of tarnishing and minor dark spots.
Brass: there are some lifting especially to the lateral panels. With minor dents and bumps.
Tortoiseshell: with minor cracks, losses and lifting, especially one vertical to the upper part of the front (approx. 4 cm.)
