Good overall condition.
The illustrations published on the website catalogue are accurate.
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches, shrinkage cracks and rubbing due to age and use.
The structure have been reinforced and restored, especially to the back of the commode.
Veneer : there are some minor liftings and losses to the veneer, especially to the top of the drawers and the back of the feet. The liftings have been partially restored. The veneer is sun faded.
Marble : there are some minor inevitable chips especially to the edges.
Gilding : the gilding is rubbed and tarnished throughout with minor black spots and traces, especially to the ornaments of the uprights.
The bronze elements have been refixed later.
A classical commode, with a nice geometrical parquetry.
