The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition.
The illustrations published on the website catalogue are slightly too bright and gilding slightly orange compared to the reality.
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.
As stated in the catalogue some bronze elements are later.
Gilding : there are some traces of tarnishing.
There are some minor casting flaws especially to the masks on the sides
Porcelain : Viewed without dismantling the bronzes. Pierced to fit the fountain mount at the base. Two other holes have been pierced to the sides to fit the handles. The collar has been reduced to fit the mount. The cover is later and is not in porcelain. The gilding slightly erased especially to the cover and to one cartouche. The section of the collar has been restored. Little wared to the gilding. The foot has probably been reduced to fit the mount.
