The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition.
Illustrations published on the website catalogue are accurate despite being slightly too bright.
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.
Gilding: With some minor signs of tarnishing and minor traces of verdigris, and very minor casting flows, especially to one base.
Porcelain: Viewed without dismantling the bronzes.
On one ewer, the mouth rim has been restored with overspray. There are few cracks on the mouth rim and the body. The foot has few chips and has been probably reduced to fit the mount.
The other ewer has craquels, and a short hairline crack going down to the collar. A few flacks /shallow surface small chips. Both vases have the feet pierced to fit the mount, one with associated hairline cracks to the base.
