Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Good overall condition. Illustrations published on the website catalogue are accurate despite being slightly too bright. There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing due to age and use. One base is detached and need to be re-fixed properly. Gilding with some signs of tarnishing and black spots especially to the base. The upper mounts with each two round marks, the vases perhaps with former handles. Porcelain: The porcelain was examined without dismantling the mounts. One vase with a flat chip to the foot rim. Otherwise, good overall condition with little wear to the enamels. One porcelain with a minor restauration. Highly decorative piece.
