The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.
As stated in the catalogue, the high of the two vases are different (23cm. high ; 22cm. high) and the bases of the mounts are slightly different.
Vases:
The gilding is slightly tarnished.
The collar of the dark blue one is slightly dented.
The turquoise one with an oxidation stain to the base.
Cup:
The gilding is slightly tarnished, and the feet are slightly loose.
Some very minor casting flaws especially to the dolphins.
Porcelain:
Viewed without dismantling the bronzes.
The cup: There are some restorations with overspray to the rim. The foot is not visible due to the mounting.
The vases: On the powder blue glazed vase, there is an approximately 4 cm (11⁄2 in.) hairline to the body. The foot rim is not visible due to the mounting. On the turquoise, the mouth rim has been reduced to fit the mount, the foot rim is not visible due to the mounting. Both vase bases have possibly been pierced.
