Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Provisional CR: Good overall condition. There are inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and rubbing due to age and use. There are inevitable traces of tarnishing throughout. One element of the top trophy is wobbly and need to be re-fixed properly. One element of the pearl frieze is missing to the back of the right side of the base. Marble: there are minor chips to the edges as expected. Please note that this condition report has been written from a work of art and not a time-measuring object point of view. Therefore, this lot has to be checked by a professional clock-maker.
