Daniel Marchand (1733-1794), natif de Hanau, fut l’un des bijoutiers les plus importants de Hanau après ses beaux-frères, les Frères Toussaint. Il fut également mentionné dans l’accord signé avec le guillocheur Étienne Flamant en 1773, par lequel il s’engageait à fournir 70 boîtes par an à Flamant pour le guillochage. Marchand fit faillite avant 1790.
