The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches, shrinkage cracks and rubbing consistent with age and use.
Gilding: there are some minor traces of tarnishing, especially to the top and the feet.
Veneer: there are some restorations, and some minor wooden pieces have been replaced. There are some minor losses, especially to the enter of the keyhole. The polychromic veneer is sun faded due to the age of the furniture, as expected.
The black leather inkstand piece has been replaced.
The mounts of the feet are later.
