The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Oil on canvas. Not lined. Varnished. Some frame abrasion to the extreme edges with associated rubbing. Examined under ultraviolet light: the surface is difficult to read. A few minor areas of fluorescence that may correspond to retouching or the artist's working method. Subject to the foregoing it is in our opinion that this works appears in good condition.
