The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Good overall condition.
There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use.
Both marble tops presents some minor scuff marks, scratches and chips, especially to the edges, as well as very discreet restorations, especially one on the front left corner of one marble top.
The veneer on both commodes presents some restorations in places, with gomme-laque paste filling and veneer patches, especially on the junction between the two front drawers, with small veneer losses. The veneer also presents some warped areas and uplifts with associated cracks, especially on the lower part of the sides. One commode is sun faded on the left side and presents some minor signs of verdigris on its mounts, as well as the upper left handle slightly wobbly.
