The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This is a rare early printing in this large format of an iconic Newton image. There is a discreetly repaired 2cm vertical tear in the upper white margin and minor wear and emulsion losses to the corners and extreme edges of the margin. There is some light staining to the reverse of the upper edge. None of this is visible in the present frame. There is some slight, very shallow undulation to the paper. Inspection in a raking light reveals some light surface dirt and minor cracks or crimps to the emulsion. Subject to the above, the print is in overall good condition. The print has good tonal values and presents well.
